One of the most interesting disputes in group A between Lions and Evil Geniuses ended in a rather unexpected domination of the game by the Swedish side.
Tuscan saw an interesting intercontinental dispute unravelling between EG and Lions, with the latter team closing the match at a clear-cut 16-8.
Starting off as Terrorists, the Swedes bagged pistol round as well as the following two, when the Americans came back for a sporadic round win, taking the score at 3-1. Lions then marched on up until 8-1, when an ace from EG's Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert, broke the rhythm of the match. The Americans then started recouping round after round, bringing the final half-time score at 9-6 to the advantage of the Lions.
Switching sides, the Swedes confidently took control of the match, allowing EG to gain an additional two rounds, before they closed the overall situation at 16-8.
